Designs have changed a lot since then. The number of failures is miniscule now - <0.5% according to Asetek which makes the coolers for most companies.
Processor, mobo and gpu will be the last in my consideration either brand new or used one from here.. depending on the best the market offers at that time. What specs are you considering for your next build???
These are few such incidents... its India eod. Lame, silly, cheap, unprofessionalism idiots right from top to bottom.

somebody who spoke the truth ,the new gen want every thing shiny and fancy ... ,get a ****ing noctua and let it rip, even after dust gets collected on fans and cooler fins it doesn't affect cooling maybe 1 to half degree and complete peace of mindWell, I have run a proper loop for many years and cleaning dust from a radiator is tougher than from an air cooler for sure. You have to be extremely careful as the fins of the rad can easily bend and get damaged.
I do own a Noctua NH-u12 model for the old rig I think (friend is using it). I don't know why by it was heating. due to dust I think.somebody who spoke the truth ,the new gen want every thing shiny and fancy ... ,get a ****ing noctua and let it rip, even after dust gets collected on fans and cooler fins it doesn't affect cooling maybe 1 to half degree and complete peace of mind
