hi all,
i have a nokia 2700 classic phone and i use aircel pocket internet 98/- on my PC. i have heard that it is possible to gain aircel 3G speeds on a 2G phone using aircel's 98 pocket internet on a 2G phone. is that true? if so, how?
^No definately not. Nokia 2700c is a 2g phone and it can't handle 3g.
And yes in some circle people are getting 3g speed for their 2g connection, again depends on luck factor.
Which circle you are in? If you want to try out you can get a 3g phone

I am from Assam circle. If I do buy a 3G cell and get 3G speed on my 2G Rs 98 plan, will such hacking tricks continue forever? Or such tricks are benefiting the users just temporarily, which may come to an end sometime in the near future (i.e when the service providers disable such tricks)?
I would also like to know which 3G Nokia model should I buy in order to avail such benefits? I need a 3G set just for internet and not for any other use.
OK, since this temporary fault is not going to last long would it be advisable to buy a 3G cell now just to use such facility? I am asking this just because I already have a 2G handset to use Pocket Internet, and I was thinking of buying a 3G set for only the above temporary cause.
I dont think so, becuase Nokia 2700 Classic is strictly a 2G Phone one cannot use 3G data faclity as it is depend on hardware factor. Nokia launced upgrade version of Nokia 2730 Classic which has 3G ability.
