Airpods 3rd gen vs airpods pro 2

So I received AirPods 3 as a gift which was supposed to be pro 2. The person hadn’t even opened the delivery packaging and thought it was a pro 2. I’m on the fence if I should sell these unused 3rd gen AirPods and buy new pro 2 or are the third gen decent enough.

My most use of them would be in the gym or sometimes calls or watching something on my iPad. I do have an iPhone and currently using galaxy buds.

Is ANC such a big deal ? I don’t want to use the AirPods third gen now to get a decent price. The box is opened though. Also any idea what do they usually go for ? Online price shows anywhere from 17 to 19k

ANC being a big deal depends on your usage. I use ANC heavily but I don't have airpods or so, I use Jabra Elite 75t. Main reason being I can keep volume low as outside interference is minimized to a great extent. So for now, I cannot buy something without ANC anymore.
