Airtel 256kbps Unlimited for 999/-

yea..it is..one of my riends got it installed yesterday...they use ADSL....and some sucky MRO modem..
 
I am using 128 till now.... I get download speeds of 13-14 on really good torrents. And around the same consistently on HTTP
 
Hey good its available here in Noida... Bad its not available here in my sector as of now... But will be here soon...
 
Actually, Airtel are pretty good in that way. They are interested in expanding their network. So, if you ask them, they could actually setup the connection and you could be the first one to have it in your sector.

Why dont you just call them up and ask them as soon as possible?
 
Hmmmmmm.... Am I the only one having difficulty with the tariffs page ? I know for sure that Airtel has Unltd. 128 for 995 here in TN ( Bottle is using it ). But I can't see it now. All I see r Cyber 64 and 128 Unltd. which costs a bomb coz it's meant for CyberCafes.

They sure want to expand their network but if i'm not wrong then ADSL is distance dependent i.e distance between the line connection & the telephone exchange should not be more than 18,000 feet[5,460 meters] to be precise.

So it wont help if their exchange is within the specified distance unless they specially setup a exchange for you which is highly unlikely:P but maybe sometime soon as their customer base increases.

OT:Btw i'm on their 128kbps Unlimited Plan,anyone here shifted to this new 256kbps plan yet?

Are re, you chcking out the home plans or business...
 
The moment I read this, I called them up and asked them. They said that I need to lodge a request and they will activate 256 from 128 for me within 48 hrs. And less than 24 hrs later, I am getting consistem d/l speeds of 27kBps. HTTP.

Airtel ROCKS!!! Never going to use any other ISP in my life!!! They certainly rule. And I think that I am getting 27 today coz today is a holiday and many people would be using the net.

But even otherwise, 27kBps rocks!!!

Airtel ki JAI!!!
