Some months ago they said we would get 3G during diwali but still nothing ?

Im waiting to run 3G on my phone but cant see it happening this year :S
 
Dunno about their 3G services but the new logo definitely seems like a rip off from the Videocon logo.....!!!

Yesterday i happen to experience 3G services from a kiosk at Forum mall, Bangalore.

They said it will start from december 1st week.
 
the signal of Airtel is showing in umts scan in mumbai. so december might be possibility but they have to be MNP compliant :p
 
Even in Bangalore I can see airtel in UMTS search along with TATA GSM and BSNL. Good news. But going by the tariffs provided by DOCOMO, airtel will not be any cheaper.
 
Today I went to Inorbit mall Vashi. Airtel stall was there to promote 3G. 3g signals was available there and giving good speeds, though I was not able to Log on 3G using my Airtel Sim. There were special offers with some handsets. (Details are now available at Airtel Website). On enquiring about tarrif for normal customers they said it would be Rs.98/month for 2gb (Same as existing gprs???).
