^^ Nope.. only 1Mbps UL plan 24x7 for ~2.2k + tax I guess....

Dude! I dont want 24x7 UL, I need only night UL topup compatible with any 2mbps plan.:) Is there any night UL topup?

I am asking because earlier they started a Rs.99 topup for night unlimited. And after a few months, they stopped it. So, i want to confirm with you that have they started it again or not?

Better change your ISP to Tata Indicom then. AFAIK in Delhi only TATA has a Night Unlimited Plan.

Lol, where is MTNL? In Karachi.

For me MTLN's up to 2mbps with NU works alright. I am not much of an online gamers so high pings are ok with me. Torrent speed is dependent on many factors but still on private torrents I always get >200KBps. With Internet Download Manager, my net speed hovers around 230KBps

Given a choice between the MTNL and TATA , I would opt for TATA anyday. Correct me if i am wrong but i don't think MTNL Broadband is available without the phoneline. Anyways i think at 750 bucks a month , 30 hours and unlimited daily 12 hr usage @ 2mbps speed is a steal.

I am not saying MTNL is best but just pointing out that TATA plan is not the only NU plan in Delhi.

BTW, can you please provide a link for this TATA plan about which you are talking?

i get nearly 1.5mbps on my 1mbps unl plan....

I havent done the actual calculations but i think the Airtel provides the best price vs downloaded data ratio. With their 1mbps, the reason why im saying that is because the download speed is about 140 KB/s (torrents-Private), and in HTTP downloads its spikes to 170+ but im pretty sure thats just the computers cache playing catch up to the actual download.

I think if ur a crazy downloader with a file server running and just NEED to download every-damn-crap-thing, this would be a good plan.... (provided the company you work for pays half of your internet bill aswell ....Hehehe)
P.S :Once the ports get filled up, im not that confident that the 140KB/s is going to stay tho ~.~

@morgoth: The night unlimited top-up is available for Time based plans in tata . Rs.299 is deducted from ur balance every month . He was referring to Quickpower 60 plan which is 60 hours for Rs.758 all inclusive . If night is activated than 299 is cut and u get around 30 hours usage .

Means the only plan having night UL which available in Delhi is MTNL only.
I was having MTNL only earlier and shifted to Airtel thinking its better.:(

dude, the night time unlimited plans of Airtel have been stopped long back.

You are damn lucky...:cool2: The top up is indeed available for just the 64kbps plan & for everybody else it gets the speed to 256kbps..

If you are getting 1.8Mbps then its great... :hap2:
