AirTel Broadband in Mumbai

Hello Friends,

Do you know that AirTel already starts its BB service in Mumbai
And offering 128 kbps for Rs699 + taxe for unlimited
and Offering 256 kbps for Rs999 + taxe for unlimited

Do you know when the service come to Mira-Bhayander Area. The AirTel guys told me that it will Max withing 2 months.

What is your Opinion and Suggestions.

Shall I go for MTNL BB now by Diverting my line from DialUp and will shift to Airtel after 2months.:S
 
i doubt whether they would come to mira road bhayandar in 2 months..thats what they told me when i asked em in october!!

ya go for triband.. its almost unlimited anyways lol ..

go for the night plann. pretty good.. no downtimes atall.

Some other forum I read they are in Thank too, can any one have detail where exactly Airtel BB avil. in thane?
 
I called them up and they said they'll set up in Bandra in about a month or two. They already provide at Bandra-Kurla complex.
 
oh i`m in jogeshwari... had inquired for my uncle who`s shifting ot mira road soon..

as of now they are only in major commercial/residential areas.. in mumbai.. mindspace , hiranandani. etc etc .. here the number of users is large and people are ready to pay 1k for 256kbps connection .. :)

It means for Airtel I have to wait at least for 6 months.

@ Stick ...they were suppose to be in andheri (w) 2 months ago......they are mostly providing their service to office areas where they will make more money.....if you wait its going to be a long time

there providing in my area (bandra - kurla complex)
contacted them they said there only giving to corporate users as of now
will be giving to home users in a month or so
