Airtel Caps Removed from 256k Unlimited Connection

Hey guys, just got a letter from Airtel saying that the previous implemented plan(15-50GB for 256kbps unlimited) has been revoked. And the users will get 256 unlimited without the caps starting from 10th March. I'm from Bangalore, n mostly the other users will get the letters too.. :hap2:

^^they did so because if they reduced the speed to half i.e. 128 kbps then it does not fall under the broadband category as per TRAI guidelines. I think TRAI should now up the threshold to 2 Mbps for broadband connections

NO ! A 384Kbps connection reduces to 256Kbps which is till considered broadband(as per TRAI's definition)...

Well 16mbps is not unlimited plan, after the free data limit is over you are charged per 50P per MB..:tongue:
