Airtel Launches 4G LTE Services In Pune

Bharti Airtel, the country's largest mobile operator by subscribers has launched its 4G LTE services in Pune , which has become the third city in India to get 4G, after Kolkata and Bangalore.



Airtel has also announced the availability of Airtel Broadband TV and Games On-Demand service for LTE customers. 4G customers can avail free trial of Airtel Broadband TV and Games-On Demand.

Airtel has also reduced the cost of 4G devices which includes the 4G multi mode dongle and Indoor CPE with Wi-Fi which now cost Rs 4999 each. Airtel has also introduced Huawei Ascend P1 LTE smartphone which is first phone that supports 4G networks in India, however its price and availability is not yet known.

The 4G services are currently only available to postpaid customers , but they will be soon available to prepaid customers as well in Pune.
