Well first it was 7 buks a day...than they made it double 14.99

And today i get an sms...now use unlimited internet for only rs 25 from your mobile...also confirmed it on its site
Though i wasnt using it...but i dont think they give any speed better except the maximum download speed reach is 20kBps.....that too with an avg of 16....

Day by day they are becoming looter number 1....as their share prices are falling

huh! Do you know the GPRS charges of Vodafone?

Its Rs.248 activation and Rs.248/month + 5p/10kb !

Now which is better?

Do you still think Airtel is 'Looting' you?

Waiting for number portability to change service..as frm the fire which happened at its office more than a year back......facing serious call drop......need to b seated at balcony else call drops or call cuts automatically.....

day by day getting horrible....

ANd shocking stuff is i belong to metro circle....

yea its total crap and looting thats why airtel was the one who cried a lot on number portability when trai announce it.

in delhi also it is damn expensive (Vodafone) . what PhotostarSR mentioned minus the rental. It comes to 10rs/mb

Atleast they sent you an SMS. They dint bother sending one to me. 3 weeks back i was charged 15 bucks. Last weekend I was in Pune and they suddenly started chargging 25. WTF. :@ . I de-activated it and am now waiting for some other operator to provide a good plan. Plus number portability. Trust me that will change how these operators take their subscribers for granted.

OMG yesterday i got new "settings" for my airtel GPRS! I deleted the messages. I think they want to change my UL GPRS to crappy new schemes!

DAMN!

I just pay 100 bucks unlimited.......for the entire month...airtel...for mobile office.......I have the corporate scheme..........restrictions are that I cannot download a file that is larger than 2MB at a time.

Under my corporate scheme I pay Vodafone Rs.199 for 500MB per month.

And its Vodafone Mobile Connect I am talking of and not Vodafone Live.

well i am from kolkata, been using airtel nop service on my mobile for 104 a month, with ul download.a noob question:fear: ...how is the speed of this mobile office...here they are asking 450 or 499 a month for ul usage of mobile office...is there a real difference between nop and mobile office

There is a lot of difference.
With NOP you cannot download any file greater than 3MB. You cannot use torrents or FTP.
With Mobile Office you can use anything.

If you want to experience the full internet using Mobile, I suggest you apply for BSNL GPRS in a postpaid BSNL SIM. It costs only Rs.199/month and gives better speed than Airtel Mobile Office.

thanks for the info...never knew that office was so good...yea right about 3mb download in NOP..even if i sometimes go for a file above 2 mb ..it gets disconnected most of the time ...
will surely check out the bsnl thing that you said...sounds pretty good
