Airtel Pings Spiking - Help Needed

Hey Guys,
I was getting like constant ping of around 25-30ms to V-Street Delhi servers and around 65-70 to Mumbai ones.

Since Sunday afternoon, my pings have started spiking occasionally to 300-350+ ingame and it makes playing very difficult as at one instant it is 25ms and the next its 350, and this is making me lag like hell.

None of the other airtel users I've spoken to on the servers are facing this problem, then why only me?

I have no bandwidth consuming applications running in the background too, btw.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance :)
 
airtel are having some problems with the international lines...but national routing should be OK....how is your pings to dns doing?....any timeouts....?

How do I check ? Should I do a traceroute ?
 
Yeah, I did. Unfortunately, going to their office for this isnt a viable proposition. Also, I am on a 59 ip range at the moment but this problem is still there. I guess I have to email Mr. Mittal to have this sorted ;)
