Airtel Prepaid Screwed SMS tariff :@ What next

Previously,

Airtel Friends subscribers were getting 200 SMS free /day (after first 3 sms). Also we were getting 15000sms/month (Daily 500 SMS limit) on RC67.

But few days back, Airtel announced, there will be 100 SMS/day limit on any tariff or any scheme subscriber.

Now, I can't pay Rs.67 for only 3000 SMS instead of 15000 SMS we had. I am txt freak and can't limit my daily SMS to 100 . Airtel screwed me

Can anyone suggest me a good service provider in Maharashtra and Goa, who has good SMS plans as well as good coverage?

How about Aircel, Uninor? Anyone using them?

IIRC... It's NOT AIRTEL who restricts your sms to 100 per day but TRAI mandatory to all service providers, go with nay service providers will not lift the limitations, rather use 5 different sim & send 100 from each

^^ its applicable for all the service providers,so better get multiple sims if you cant limit your usage to 100 texts/day.

Not all service providers are following TRAI rule yet. But they will have to follow soon. So need to limit my texts Thinking to switch to BSNL 3g now

Am getting screwed from yesterday :-(

thought that maybe it was only Airtel who was doing this. But it seems that everyone is gonna do this soon.

But with this limit in place, Airtel and Vodafone users will be the losers. The RC80 becomes worthless now. Hope they review its price.
