Airtel tariff ??

My grandpa wants a connection in his house.

I am thinking of airtel. Do they have a plan for 500/- ?? I go to their site and they have only 699 and above.
 
i remember seeing a scheme here in chennai for rs 250 with some free hours at night

edit : nikhils right .. all the old plans seem to be missing now :huh:
 
I took Airtel 250+night top-up plan about 20 days ago, so i guess the plan is still there.

Here's the plan details:

Tariff: Rs. 250 per month (100 free calls)

Night top-up: Unlimited at night (9 p.m.-8 a.m.): Rs 100

Tax: 13% service tax + 3% educational cess: Around Rs. 50

Modem rent: Rs. 100 per month

Total: Around 500

but if u want only telephone, u can get it without night top-up for ~ Rs. 250
