Airtel.. When you cannot offer speeds more than 8mbps, whats the use of 60k CR project leap?

Airtel seems to boast a lot. We've been noticing them offering 250,300 & 500Gb FUP caps. But 90% of the areas do not have access to more than 8mbps speeds on wired broadband.

They say we spent 1.5 lakh crore on building telecom infrastructure. What the use??? 95% of the areas don't have access speeds higher than 8mbps forget FTTX. Even there is no upgrade for VDSL rollout.

Enough said craptel.

Yeah they boast a lot. In my area they have been promising the viability of 16 Mbps for over a year now. Though with what I pay, I would end up getting only 66% of the FUP on 16mbps, I was fine. But no, Airtel is not having it.
