Operating systems like AIX, HPUX etc can only be installed on the particular hardware that they are supposed to run. So no one can really help you on this question.

I have installed AIX5.1 on my machine. And i have installed GCC with rpm's . But gcc is not working. Not able to complie any file. Please anyone help me in installing the latest gcc on AIX.
