As usual Acer one is cheaper even with shipping combined. And yes at 32 inch if you want to enjoy movies with your family IPS would be a better option and you can buy some led strip and stick it to the back of the monitor. This would help with perceived contrast.
PS: You might also want to add a soundbar later on. Most monitor speakers are bad...
