New 3DMark test featuring RTX 5080

Over on Tieba Baidu, a user has posted a photo featuring the unreleased RTX 5080 graphics card. The image is actually a photograph of a screen, not a direct screenshot, showing what appears to be a 3DMark Time Spy test of the RTX 5080.

The card’s name is visible, suggesting that the person conducting the test has access to pre-release drivers—specifically, press drivers, which are currently available to those testing the card.
According to the leaker, the RTX 5080 is, on average, 15% stronger than the RTX 4080 SUPER.
Based on the reported score of 32,701 points (Graphics), it is indeed 15% faster than the RTX 4080 SUPER, which averages 28,305 points in the 3DMark ranking.

Another user on the Chiphell forums claims to have an RTX 5080 with overclocking applied. In this case, the card scores 34,896 points, which is still not enough to beat the RTX 4090.
However, this represents a 6.7% increase in performance compared to other reported scores.
Just please note that we have not yet received results from our sources on RTX 5080 3DMark scores, so we can’t confirm these figures.

Worth mentioning that there was recently a leak featuring the same SKU in Geekbench OpenCL and Vulkan tests. Gaming performance is not scaling as well as synthetic tests designed to take advantage of all available GPU horsepower.
According to these scores, the card is 15% faster in the Vulkan API test and 2.3% faster in OpenCL compared to the official RTX 4080 SUPER results in the Geekbench ranking.
