Laptops almost nothing visible on my laptop display

when i started using my laptop today, i can't see anything on the screen but windows is booting normally, i can see something very dim when i look closely.
configuration is:

small thing, this is something u can fix by your self! - all u need to do is open up the front lcd panel (not even remove the lcd), just the front housing and find the "lcd inverter" (its usually at the bottom)....remove it.... go to the local market, search for it .....buy it , fix it , done.

it may be the backlit problem ,connect your lap with the VGA out connector & check the display,if its working (on external LCD/CRT)then its the backlit PCB ,replace the same.
