Forum Feedback Alt theme not supported

The thing with Alt themes is that the developer has made it free of cost, no wonder the payment flow was not working, and therefore it also means that quality and support will be limited to non-existent. Had it been something small I would have addressed it. The only recourse that I see is modifying a copy of the existing default theme to match the Alt theme. Its time consuming so cannot commit a timeline. A workaround of course is to use the default theme in the time being.

I had a look at the JS console errors and it looks like jQuery and one of its plugins are not being loaded. It probably isn't as simple as just editing the html and putting in cdn links to the missing files but it shouldn't be difficult to try out.

The cdn link for the plugin is https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/jquery.hoverintent/1.10.2/jquery.hoverIntent.min.js

and for jQuery itself: https://releases.jquery.com/ cached pages from August show the version being used was 3.51

the <script> tag for both should be inserted right after the one for xenforo's preamble.min.js with jQuery being loaded before the plugin.

I could be completely wrong, the last forum I played around with was Vanilla and that was two decades ago.

Am unable to react on posts other than liking it. Earlier, you could see various emojis by hovering the mouse over the button.

Secondly, if I want to react to a post with a thumbs up (like) you are put through a confirmation.

Am observing this issue with Alt dark theme while it works fine on default theme.

I'm unable to react with emojis other than like (like laughing, love, etc.,) on the threads. I also get a confirmation prompt before liking (assuming this is intentional)

I'm assuming it's related to the theme. Changing the theme to default gives the option to react.

^ Yes, am switching over to white theme if I need to reach with different emoji lol.

Just noticed I can not use the edit button on existing post without switching the theme.

Ai ai ai!

This issue still persists!

I saw this & I was like, how was that done?

This is around 6 months old an issue, no one did anything about it, clearly.

@kalph09 I am on phone, how do I change themes on the fly?
