Alternate method to access

Hi,

I'm using Vista on my laptop. And it has suddenly started to crash everytime I boot it. I need to check the file memory.dmp and tranfer it to my pen drive. The problem is, it is stable for a few sec only. . Safe mode doesn't help either. Is there any other method to transfer it?

boot via Hirens Boot CD / Ubuntu , access the partitions and get watever you wish to.

tiny vista or tiny xp or windows xp usb edition can also be used

hmm yo can use Norton ghost recovery tool...i am not sure will it made 4 vista ..if it is ..then download it ..it boot able disk ...run it at boot itme..and take wat ever ya want... hope it will help u... but am not sure...
