Storage Solutions alternates to wd 640 aaks?

cudnt get this drive newhere at lammy....they all had aacs and even the black ones are not available

so which hdd shud i get ..i dont mind a 500 gb one but it gotta be fast.

ill be usin only 1 drive for my os/games/storage..

so is there nething similar if not better than aaks i can go for..

i don think the 7200.12 are here yet in mumbai..and i don want to go for the 7200.11 for obvious reasons..

will a 500 gb aaks be faster than a 640 gb aacs.??

I've a couple of 640 AAKS as well but the OP's looking for its alternatives.

Wait for the Seagate 7200.12 drives. Packs 500GB/platter and performs miles ahead of the previous-gen 7200.11 ones.
