Hi a question for professional integrators here. I've been testing a few VMS software and some are good some are just meh. For IVA, I personally like BriefCam since its search functions is quite impressive, but I also noticed that if I wanted to add more video analytics functions to VMS, the total cost would double. For example, if I use Nx plus BriefCam, the cost of IVA is much higher than VMS, raising the final cost. Are there other ways to reduce the cost of IVAs like BriefCam besides buying a lot of licenses at one time to get discounts? Or is there any replacement for BriefCam ( with similar functions )? I just don't feel like spending $300 on a single camera just for analytics.
