i am using net from the local cable wala which is having a router and i get the connection thru' rj45 cable(lan cable).

now i am using utorrent for downloads. i don't have any incoming open ports. and can't create any new one :( . so having trouble with upload speeds.

is there any alternatives to port forwarding ??

the router is GlobespanVirata GS8100 .....

Thanks

Unless you really need bridge mode(you do advanced networking stuff) dont go that route. It will open up your system to big bad world. If you really go for it make sure you system has a firewall

You can try web based utorrent which uses port 80, which is allowed by all.

that only allows you to remotely check your downloads when you are away from your computer and not actually DOWNLOAD via browser :P
