Well, I'm not a big poster here; more of a watcher, however, I couldn't stop myself from posting in this one.

If this is all the conversation that took place between customer and dealer, I think dealer should really think hard about it.....customer has every right to query.....hell, I only seldom transfer money from my ICICI bank and I know it how much time does it take for interbank transfer and intrabank transfer and being a dealer you doesn't know it....anyways, if you don't ....there got to be better ways to communicate it......

the way I see it is prolly dealer is making less margin or whatever reason, he is clearly not interested in selling.....

I say 80 % dealers fault , 20 % customer's fault IMHO

Sir ,

Now even I am Not a Inexperienced Delaer For That Matter ,What Irritated Me Was His this Post

"dingemini312 asks again

dude...

i checked @ ur website.

it gives the account details n all...

but wat i am askin is ...

that is it possible to do a transfer ( third party transfer not the NEFT one ) directly from State bank of INDIA account (which i hold) to a State bank of Patiala account (which u hold)

is it so time consuming for u to reply in YES/NO ?

PS:

third party transfer between 2 same banks (or associate banks) takes only 10-15mins ... hence i am my time askin u the same question."

In His this Post He is Question And Also Answering The Questions He is Asking me .He Called Me a dude When According To the Website He is 21 and i am 32 .Then He is answering his own question ,So What Was the Point In Asking Me Hummm...

LOL... U got offended coz he called u a dude....

haaaaaahaaaa .... that's the lamest excuse i've eva heard....

EDIT: This is fun... (it's like i'm on funenclave)

Not to fuel up any further, but this is how I look at it:

Buyer should take care of:

1. How the payment gets materialized to the dealer. The dealer is not expected to keep a knowledge about how a bank would function. That assumption is wrong.

2. The innings stops there and then when the payment is done.

Seller should take care of:

1. Acknowleding the payment is received and revert back with details.

I would simply put the conversation with any dealer in plain english, no need to get friendly, no need to ask any favour. Its just plain business.

Amarbir,

I agree and understand problem with lingo, but ahh, there is no point getting yourself troubled with it. Read it, forget it. I for myself don't even go through many posts, because sincerely I need to save my efforts for reading other posts that are readable.

Peace.

You need to contact the bank's CC for that matter, how will a dealer know about it, how if the dealer doesn't have access to said bank anywhere where he stays?
Guys,

Do you really expect all the dealer to be aware of odd about 10+ major banks in India, how they function?

Dealers: Got task really hard for you, if you wanna sell here, you should study all the bank's transaction mechanism, you will be asked questions you know.

Isn't it the opposite...

On topic: The dealer is the one who is taking charges for the service. He's not doing community service here. He has the responsibility to answer a customer's queries. In that vein, I don;t think din made any mistake in asking him how to transfer the cash. All the dealer had to say if he didn't know was "Sorry I'm not sure how this bank transfer works, will try to let you know soon" .. Was it that difficult..? And in internet forums everyone is the same age.. there's nothing wrong in one calling another bro, dude, pal, mate, whatever... Taking offense for such things is very lame..!

Um guys...

Amarbir is a dealer, period.

@OP: Would you prefer if he was more of a member and less of a dealer? That would come with its own set of flaws (possible late shipment for a start?)

I agree with what Bikey said whole heartedly.

WTF is going on people.......

Amarbir, you really need to calm down. On forums dont expect everyone to speak polite English :P

If someone does not know : 3rd party bank transfer does not take just 15-20 mins. It can take anywhere upto 24 hours. Usually same bank transfers reflect instantly. And this should be common knowledge for someone who has ever done online transfers which Dinesh I am sure you have.

And this is warning for all. Do not post personal conversations here.

We have already made clear that dealer rules and regulations wont change until after June in other threads as we cannot change terms and conditions in middle of the quarter for which they have already paid after aggrying to previous terms and conditions.

We know there are some loopholes left and in all previous threads it has been communicated 1000s of times that suggested changes are under consideration.

And even after all that this pathetic thread pops up.

If you dont agree the way dealer is dealing now, dont deal with him, as currently we cannot force them to change anything neither can we change rules in middle of their term.

Dinesh consider this as a clear warning to you and any other person who resort to unethical ways.
