there were some issues with my 24 inch dell 2407 HC's(S-PVA panel) on/off button.So i called up dell a few days ago and yesterday they send me a Dell UltraSharp U2410(S-IPS) :ohyeah::ohyeah: Purchased the 2407 ard 3 yrs ago!

Watchout for any excessive backlight bleeding or washed colors - seems to be a problem with the U2410.

Mind sharing how you went about with the RMA process?

Just called them up and told them about the on /off button crapping out and a couple of days later they sent me the new monitor:D

After calibration the colors no longer appear washed out.But yes there is backlight bleeding.But since i no longer game or watch movies on my pc, it's not that big an issue.Not noticeable while web surfing ,etc,etc.
