Yes, It was gone in like 5 mins, but I managed to order 2 of them. Hopefully I'll face no issue in running them in dual channel.
lol, i would rather worry more about either the seller cancelling the order(which is actually a good thing) or the seller shipping something else completely.

Ofcourse the seller name was the first thing I checked before ordering. SS for reference and proof that I'm not joking
It will not be cancelled as the seller is Appario & the price is also not unrealistic... basically this is what it was selling for 3-4 months back. Compatibility should also be fine if you are running 2nd gen Ryzen or later or intel. Good luck!

Yeah, RAM prices were really low at that time. But have been increasing from last 20 days or so.
I know it's not the right thread for this discussion but anyways Let me give you some details about my specs, maybe you can tell me more about compatibility.
I'm using gigabyte ab350 gaming 3 with ryzen 5 1500x currently (will upgrade to r5 3600 in next couple of months). Not planning on upgrading mobo as of yet. Also managed to grab a 3070 fe recently.

I hope I won't be losing much fps on b350 with 3200mhz ram, r5 3600 and a 3070.

Edit: the monitor is Samsung 144hz QHD Curved.

If both the sticks have same specs and memory is of same OEM no issues , if you have micron E memory you might even be able to OC it without any fuss

You won't loose much performance.
The best, of the best, of the best, ram can not give you more than 5% in gaming, even with a RTX 3090 when compared to your 3200 cl16 kit. (baring exotic cooling)
I would say your R5 3600 is barring you may be twice as much as your ram in this case, from the full potencial of your RTX 3070

Yeah RAM performance in game vary mainly when you're not running them in Dual Channel mode due to misaligning RAMs in DIMM slots. 2666-3600MHz performance gains are minimal in gaming. Even 2400MHz with tighter timings can match that. Talking about Intel Setups.
Although I do think with Zen 4 and DDR5 RAM for once can make a difference. I'm very excited for that which is why I resisted the temptation of Zen 3.

DDR4 prices have increased a lot in today's market as well and even PSUs are expensive. This is just on purpose to take advantage of current price gouged market. I remember back in 2015 DDR4 RAM kit 16GB was 30K for quad channel kit and it was the only component I bought from NewEgg for 10K. It was well worth the wait, otherwise I would've been stuck with DDR3 setup with 4790K.

Zen 4 would be 2022 Dec and in market by 2023 until unless something substantial comes from intel's stable , intel might force amd with PCIE 5.0 and ddr5 but who knows .Most probably there would be Warhol prior to AM5 socket or there wont be any thy might completely ditch that to fab gpus

Intel's Alder Lake is coming later this year (assuming Intel does not have yet more issues with 10nm) which as a new microarchitecture should provide substantial boost along with DDR5 and PCIe 5 support. Don't think AMD can delay Zen 4 until 2023.

Just a friendly tip for those who don't already know and use it. There's a really good price tracker for Amazon and ebay.

The best tracker I've found so far. It works by adding extension to your preferred web browser.
It also provides free instant price drop alert for any product you want to buy. There are tons of features in free version and many more in the paid version.
I've myself bought many products at good prices by setting price drop alerts.

Another good deal

Did a little research on a 3600 impacting performance with a 3070. Performance difference is there for 1080 gaming compared to a 5600x, but very minimal (around 3% on avg) on a 1440p display which I have.
So I think 3600 should be good to go with 3070 and a 1440p display.
