DRAMless and possibly QLC drive. It comes in TLC variant also but you never know what you're gonna get.
Yup thats exactly what I would use it for.DRAMless and possibly QLC drive. It comes in TLC variant also but you never know what you're gonna get.
Good price for a game drive. I wouldn't put an OS on it. A2000 is better.

Using one ATM, for more than 6 months - no issues as such. No idea about RMA experience.how good is the rma ? i need to buy 2 of these for nucs
lot of good brands in their portfolio must be good service. a local shop near me is selling these ssd's for 1500 way lower than non deal amazon price.Using one ATM, for more than 6 months - no issues as such. No idea about RMA experience.
In India, Fortune IT manages their RMA - that's what I heard from Nehru Place based dealer and he also said that they are good - Again this is what I heard not the personal experience
No, it's not. You better go SSD instead of going from 5400RPM to 7200RPM.Is the increased rpm worth the added cost?
5400 is crap , only f it was 7200 then it was total worthy!Seagate 2tb internal harddisk 5400 RPM for 3869
7200RPM goes for nearly 5k.
Limited-time deal: Seagate Barracuda 2 TB Internal Hard Drive HDD – 3.5 Inch SATA 6 Gb/s 5400 RPM 256 MB Cache for Computer Desktop PC (ST2000DM005) https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07GWRP5LN/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_navT_g_dl_BZYTWJ32Z29N4MCABW8C

Other than the whirring sound 5400 makes, are the 7200s better in reliability and speeds?5400 is crap , only f it was 7200 then it was total worthy!
No,Other than the whirring sound 5400 makes, are the 7200s better in reliability and speeds?
I had it backwards then. SSD is the way to go.No,
7200s are faster. These drives are loud with more wear and tear, 5400s are relatively silent and less prone to failure.
It's like 25-30% faster while copying (R/W ) data in bulk, which isn't very fast.
after 5400s SSD is the option to consider, even a SATA SSD will make night and day difference.
Is this better than using a WD blue 7200rpm/256mb cache internally or with an enclosure?https://www.amazon.in/Western-Digital-Portable-External-Compatible/dp/B07VMTNDMK/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=2tb+external+hard+disk&qid=1640102150&refinements=p_89:Western+Digital&rnid=3837712031&s=electronics&smid=A14CZOWI0VEHLG&sprefix=2tb+ex,electronics,210&sr=1-3&th=1
