Delivered today but I can't create partition, tried windows 11 Disk management and MiniTool Partition Wizard but none worked so called Amazon for return.... such a waste of time
I have recommended and bought for my friend but 1 TB variant. It has been partitioned in 3 big drives and a small 10 GB one. I agree with you that it might be a bad one but still check again. Sometime we do miss on small things.

did you try it as external device or internal SSD . DId yoyalso try with Partition Magic SW
I tried with internal Sata port with new cable so connections are good. For windows 11 Disk management it can't do anything but with Minitool it was able to create a partition though can't change to NTFS so its unusable.
Tks for the headsup, i was mesmerized by the prizing, i will be alert now!
Yeah, I bought because of the price else I am good with 1TB NVME, maybe not all drives are bad but the price seems too good so everyone should be cautious while buying.
I am not happy with Amazon as they wants me to wait for 3 days for a resolution for a drive that was reported bad within 2 hours of delivery.

I agree but already tried basic troubleshooting and don't want to keep the product which is faulty from day 1

I just put mine in drawer to use later. Will check now.. it's single use packaging so didn't want to open it. So you can't create multiple partitions or not even one?

Edit: Mine is working fine.

When you open Disk Management it ask for making a MBR or GPT Record, my drive fails at that point.

You can have cheap 256/512 A55 drives x4 and have ZFS running. It will be decent setup.
I don't need a NAS solution for now but might consider if there is an actual need, Also I am not aware of full potential too.

I was buying this drive for desktop since my brother will buy a laptop soon then I'll transfer my existing 1tb NVME drive and use this cheap drive in my system.
