Stay away from gammix S70 Blade for now as there are many reports & comments on reddit as well as amazon US about sudden failure of these drives. Basically, the issue seems to be with the innogrit controller(IG5236) & any ssd with this controller seems to have reliability issues currently.XPG GAMMIX S70 Blade M.2 NVME 2TB PCIe Gen4
Rs. 10059/- on Amazon Prime Day Early Deal + additional 10% discount for SBI card, effectively 2TB @ Rs. 9053/-
Not more than 2 years ago I bought 8 gb variant for 3k and these days even 16 is cheaper than that. RAM and SSD prices are really falling a lot.www.amazon.in/ADATA-Memory-AX4U320016G16A-SR30-16GB-3200-dp-B0971BQ6ML/dp/B0971BQ6ML/
Can get 16x2 in ₹5,396.10 if you got Amazon ICICI Credit Card. Just got a set and another set with the help of a friend's account.
The issue can also be tracked by searching the term MN-5236 (As in Innogrit 5236 being used for this SSD and others).Stay away from gammix S70 Blade for now as there are many reports & comments on reddit as well as amazon US about sudden failure of these drives. Noted: these Gen 4 SSDs really need a heatsink to go along with them as they heat up quite a bit. I don't see anyone mentioning that they had a heatsink installed on them, but yes a quick Google search reveals many users did face this issue. let's see how mine goes, it will be used in a PS5 with a suitable heatsink.Stay away from gammix S70 Blade for now as there are many reports & comments on reddit as well as amazon US about sudden failure of these drives. Many were using with heatsink too. Also, initial reviews of S70 Blade did not notice it running particularly hotter than usual compared to say drives like kingston NV2. Adata seems to have reliability issues not just with this model but some of their other models using different controllers too as per amazon US recent comments so I am guessing it may be due to cost cutting by Adata as it is simply not financially viable to release & sell products with good performance as well as good reliability at cheap prices.Noted: these Gen 4 SSDs really need a heatsink to go along with them as they heat up quite a bit.
