AFAIK the 6 months warranty is from the seller and they should replace or refund you for the faulty device.For refurbished items,be vary of warranty.
I bought a refurbished dell mouse 2months back.
Last week it developed an issue , went to support page to get the service contact number for provided 6 months warranty.
The no is "no longer in existence".
This was for a product sold by appario refurbished and service provided by amazon itself.
Who knows what is going on with third part sellers.
Contact the seller directly on Amazon also complain to Amazon customer care.
Most likely Appario is fulfilled by Amazon so they would take responsibility for the product.
I have received refunds directly from Amazon in the past for such things.
They never even bother to collect the broken item if its value is low.
With used product its either sell it with 6 months warranty or dump it in a land field.
