WP Amazon is removing it's app from Windows Phone store

Amazon is killing its Windows Phone app on July 25. The company recently pulled the app from the Windows Store search results, and it wasn’t installable recently. The company announced the app’s retirement in the app, stating:

The Windows Phone App will be retired on July 25, 2016. Please visit our website.

While Flipkart is constantly updating its app, Amazon is removing it's app from Windows Phone store. Dumb decision.
 
Dosent matter windows 10 mobile / wp 8.1 actually launching windows 10 mobile has made its future more worse.they have actually releazied that what they have been selling from years is not loved by more people

It may not have future but lakhs of people are still using Windows phones. That's why it is not a wise decision to remove existing app from store.
Others like Flipkart, State Bank of India, OLX are constantly updating their apps. They wouldn't bother to update if no one is using Windows phones at present.
 
Doesn't matter. They stopped updating app for OS which has <2% market share. You can argue that windows 10 apps are cross compatible with windows 10 mobile. But they already has internet site for that. No need wasting resources which can be better spent else where.
