Amazon May Launch Kindle Fire 2 As Soon As July
Cnet has been reported by sources that Amazon will be launching successor its highly successful Kindle Fire tablet this summer and its expected to happen on July 31 at a launch event .
There isnt much mentioned about the specs except that it will have a camera and physical volume control buttons .
No word on whether Bluetooth will be included, what processor will power the device, and whether Amazon will stick with 8GB of built-in memory and no expansion capabilities. It will also be interesting to see whether Amazon, as rumored, will attempt to subsidize the cost of the new Kindle Fire with an ad-supported Special Offers version.
Recently , DigiTimes also reported that Amazon is considering launching a new $199 7-inch tablet with higher , 1280x800 resolution tablet . DigiTimes had also indicated that Amazon has plans to drop the current Kindle Fire to $149 when the newer tablet is launched .
Google will be launching its Nexus 7 tablet soon which will be packing some impressive hardware , so Amazon will have to match those specs and offer additional advantage to continue with the success of the original Kindle Fire .
