Hi! I am planning to buy a laptop on Amazon (not looking for CC), and wanted to know how the Amazon Pay's ICICI card's cashback work. T&C states 5% cashback for prime members "As Reward Points". What is the worth of these points, and where can I use them?

It gets credited to your amazon account as amazon pay balance. You can use it on Amazon, as well as any other merchant which accepts payments through amazon pay.

1 point = 1 INR in your amazon pay balance.

5% (for prime) and 3% (non-prime) cashback on purchases on Amazon.in
2% for bills through amazon pay.
1% for any other txn.

There no upper limit of cashback amount. If you do a txn of 1 Lac on amazon, you get 5K (or 3K if non-prime) cashback at the end of your billing period.

As other said, 5% cashback gets credited to your AZ account as Amazon Pay points at the end of every monthly billing cycle. You can use it in Amazon or other merchants supporting Amazon Pay.

Some SBI card gives 5+5% cashback on all merchants (not locked to AZ). You may want to look it up if you are planning for new credit card.
I had seen a post about it on this forum sometime back but unable to find it now.
