It happened in the US, the product was a $139 windows tablet pc purchased during black friday. The person had buyer's remorse and asked me to have it returned the same day it was delivered (saturday before cyber monday) so I did. Amazon emailed a return label and the person packed it up at the UPS counter at a Staples store in Florida. Amazon said they couldn't verify the return. Tracking showed it was picked up and received by Amazon but they said nothing was inside. Staples refused to handover CCTV footage without a lawyer and these drop locations don't give a receipt for packages received. This entire process took almost two months because of the holiday season. Amazon assumed it was a fraudulent return and blocked my account.
