CPU/Mobo AMD 955BE CPU Core Temperature

Hey guys,

Never noticed this problem from a long while. My CPU temp values are available through Speedfan but when I check core temp. The values are shown as "0" in all the cores everywhere. I had installed CM HYPER 212 last month using CM Ice Fusion TIM. Below are the pictures.

That would be my first guess. Does the BIOS show 0 as well?

What about core temp. You could have bad sensors. Highly probable.

Core temp is what's shown as 0. Do take a look at the Speedfan window.

well,is the core unlock feature on in the bios...be sure to check that first.

coz u don't need that,so turn that feature off n recheck the temperature!!!

shud solve the problem...

Yes, the core unlock is on in the BIOS making all the four cores operational.

Shutting Down and checking. Will post back once I am back.

+1 to demonic. Disabled the core unleasher from BIOS. My core temps are showing the values. But is there a difference in unleashing the cores. How does it help. I think it unleashes the hidden cores in Pheom II X2 555BE.

core unlock feature is for unlocking the cores that have been factory locked due to some reason...

it doesn't help 955 be.

it's usually for some tri core and dual core cpu's from amd.

so it is of no help to ur brother!
