AMD much awaited Porpus has finally showed up and as usual Inpai guys were the first to review it. The AII X4 priced at $116 seems to be the cheapest Quad Core till date and is placed in direct competition with Core 2 Quad 8200. The test shows how well the processor work, not only performance the processor easily achive 1ghz stable overclock. The AII X4 is no slouch either and will surely tempt user with overall better performance.

The model tested is not the best from AII X4 stable , the higher version will be out soon.

heck how is athlon ii different to phenom ii?

any benchmarks for this and corei5?

muhahaha.. this is good news.. i was planning on investing in a full time rendering machine.. so i can play and work at the same time :D

guys can any1 of you plz tell me how the athlon II x4 competes with the phenom II x2 550 ??.

both will be more or less equal in performance or the athlon II x4 will win the race ?.

plz .

AII X4 gonna lead if we compare AII X4 vs PII X2[non unlocked].

Athlon II x4 is extreme vfm as it beats the cr@p outaa Q8200 in 95% benchs , while Q8200 costs 8.5k

And for Athlon II X4, you won't be needing a 6k mobo but a 4k one, whereas under 5k mobos from INTEL suck!!
