This is really sad stuff for Nvidia fanboys like me....
GPU Café ATI already using 5GHz GDDR5
with more memory bandwidth than a 280m..
What is nvidia doing watching ati stealing their mojo....
I have to give it to Ati..They are hurting nvida where it hurts the most midrange an d value segment, while minimizing the high end to a couple of cards...
now the mobile gpu zone too..
i guess my fanboyism is taking a big hit...

Why oh why, they didn't do it earlier. I would like liked ATi in my macbook over nVidia 9400 anyday.

the GTX280M is just a 9800gtx+ downclocked,its bandwidth would be less than even the 4860M thats supposed to come out later not to mention the 4870M.

nvidia's laptop naming scheme is a joke in the face of consumers.
