ASUS M5A78L-M/U3 - 3500
Corsair Vengeance 4GB 1600Mhz - 1600
Seagate 500GB 7200RPM SATA - 3200
LG E2242TC 22" LED - 8700
NZXT Source 210 Elite - 2700
Corsair VS 550 - 2900
Zotac GTX 550 Ti 1Gb - 7500

Total - 37600

Cheerz n a Happy new year.

A Intel rig will be better for gaming.

Face it, AMD offers VFM, but not for gaming. Its Intel that leading there.

Go for a i3 + H61/B75 based mobo + 1x4GB XMS + 500GB HDD + AMD 7750 GPU + AOC 22" TN panel ~ No ghosting + cabby/smps + extras.
@ALPHA17 rates please :)

ajayhhh Go with this-
Intel i3 3220-7k
Gigabyte B75M D3H-4.5k
Gskill Ripjaws 2X2GB 1600mhz-1.5k
Segate 1TB 7200RPM-4.3k OR Segate 500GB-3.5k
Sapphire HD7750-7k
Corsair CX430V2-2.4k
Dell ST2220L-8.5k
Any Circle Case OR Zebronics Bijli-1.2k
The AMD Vishera lineup processor which is comparable with i3 3220 will be above 10k so it'd be better that you go with intel rig.

ASUS M5A78L-M/U3 - 3500

NZXT Source 210 Elite - 2700
Corsair VS 550 - 2900

No point having the latest AMD architecture and mounting it on such an old chipset. All performance and efficiency improvements will be lost, also 1600MHz RAM will not be supported.

Corsair VS550W is seriously not worth its price tag at all, poor quality components used and being a piece available only in the Indian and Chinese markets smacks of cost-cutting.

@ajayhhh, I would firmly tell you that going the AMD route is not viable at all, the Bulldozer CPU's currently in circulation are one of the worst releases from AMD in a long time.

AMD FX processors are definitely not cut for gaming. They not only get completely destroyed by Intel’s Core i5 and Core i3, but also yield even to their own predecessors from the Phenom II family. The reasons behind this situation are quite obvious: contemporary games can rarely take full advantage of the multi-core architectures, so the real strength of the new Bulldozer microarchitecture remains in the shade.

This is what I suggest --
Intel Core i3 3220 ~7000/-
GIGABYTE-B75M-D3H ~4500/-
Corsair Vengeance 4GB x1 1600MHz ~1600/- (add another module later for dual-channel advantage)
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB ~3000/-
nVidia GTX650Ti ~9000/-
DeLL IN2030M ~6000/- (20" LED backlit monitor) OR DeLL ST2220L ~8500/- (22" LED backlit monitor, with HDMI-IN)
Corsair CX v2430W ~2500/- OR Cooler Master GX450W ~3500/-
Cooler Master eLite 311 ~2000/-
APC BR600VA-IN ~2000/- (you are in Bangalore, a UPS is a must)
LOGITECH MK200 combo ~700/-

Hope this helps and wishing all on this thread a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous 2013. Cheers!

ok... considering many people's choice is still i3 over AMD FX, I'll suggest him the same ....
The above mobo is awesome for its price...

Going for AMD or Nvidia graphics doesnt matter with intel CPU right ? (if both AMD and Nvidia cards are of same class and almost same performer)

I got Dell 2220L a year and a half back... Is it still available or are there any newer models out there in market ??

Yes the nVidia GTX650Ti is a very good performer (in its bracket) and the choice of processor does not affect the graphic card.
AnandTech - Bench - GPU12

No, the ST2220L / M remain DeLL's corner-stones in the monitor market.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the OP's budget 27k and not 37k?

We are aware but tell me if he comes back stating that the HD6770 / HD7750 are ineffectual to run games @full HD (thanks to a 22" panel) what face do I have. And I am not going to stop recommending UPS's with my build, in cities like Bangalore they are a must; from personal experience.

I am being honest and telling him what in my opinion is best. That is all.

Well, his 6k budget for the CPU and 7k for the GPU does make fitting any config into his 27k budget impossible. He'll probably need to get an Intel G640/840 + sub Rs.3000 Intel motherboard, which should be fine since he's looking to game @ low-med settings.

4GB DDR3 1333mhz : 1200
Intel Dual Core G645 + DH61HO : 6050
HD7750: 6900
500GB HDD : 3300
Keyboard+mouse combo: 700
cabinet: 1000
UPS - zebronics/intex 600VA: 1300
Monitor 20/22": between 5800-8500
SMPS Antec VP450 : ~2600

total: 28850-31550

You still need to add speakers.
Prices from deltapage and primeabgb.

OP has to sacrifice a bit on GPU,HD7750 would be good enough for now,Also he should get a 1k case for now and get a better one later. The processor and mobo should be i3 3220+Gigabyte B75 as he won't upgrade that anytime soon.Instead of Intex 600va iball 650va OR APC 650va-1.9k would be better.

Closing in on:
Intel i3 3220
Some decent mobo with onboard graphics (will it play current games in low settings ?)
Graphics card eliminated. He can buy it in future after few months.
Dedicated UPS not needed as his house has UPS backup

AMD it is ! Bought from Jainex (SP Road).

AMD FX-6100 - Rs.6550
Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 Rs.3600
Corsair Vengeance 4GB Rs.1300
WD 2TB Rs.5600
Corsair CX500W Rs.3200
DELL 2440L Rs.12500
CM Elite 310 Rs.1800

Will buy graphics card sometime later. In mind: AMD 7750

AMD FX-6100 - Rs.6550
Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 Rs.3600
WD 2TB Rs.5600
Corsair CX500W Rs.3200

Why that combo?

Is the 2TB hard-drive a Green edition?

Why a Corsair CX v2500W, we had already explained that the Seasonic S12II 430W OR Cooler Master GX450W would have been a better choice.
