As of now only high end card ATI5970 (priced around 35000 rupees and above) will play all games(including Crysis Warhead) 60fps average at 1080p but my query is " I just want to know when will we see cards (around 10K price) play almost all the games 60fps average at 1080p / max AA/AF "pretttt said:Dude, such cards are already there. Buy any high end card from Nvidia or AMD. It will play "almost" all the games at 60fps. There will always be a handful of exceptions. But, current gen games dont really need that much hardware. If you are a PC Gamer on budget, this has to one of the best times. Relatively powerful hardware is available at not very expensive prices and PC games in India are dirt cheap even on release date. Only problem is when some games never get released for PC at all (like RDR :'( ) and sometimes the ports arent really good performance/control wise.

I don't think so because the next premium segment is 3d , 1600p resolution so I hope we will get the 10k priced cards which will play games like crysis warhead 60fps average at 1080p / max AA/AF within few years.hash said:Maybe in the next few light years.
Company's want to make profit by making the card that can play the latest games at highest possible setting as the costliest one. They just play with people's greed while they satisfy themselves . But , hey they can't survive any other way.
I have been using both ATi and nVidia cards over the years and both brands have driver issues which are continuously fixed. In fact, the card with which I had most driver related glitches over the years is a 6800GT followed by a Radeon 8500. However some people do claim that ATi's drivers are not just as optimized as nVidia's because of which ATi often looses the edge despite having superior hardware. Then is also the Linux support which a few people complain about.rahulyo said:And what abt ATi driver ? Most of ATi users facing driver problem .

If HD6870 effectively replaced HD5850 is performance, wonder what HD6970 would do to a HD5850 CFx setup(aka HD5970 with a few shaders less).pretttt said:^One correction, I think 6950 will be better than 6870.
6950 is replacing 5850 and 6870 replaces 5770. 5850 is way better than 5770. By that analogy, 6950 should be way better than 6870.
I agree with you games are going to be bigger and better that's why I told next focus of corporates on 3d + 1600 and above resolution (because 3d may not be appealing in small screen it meant for 50+ inch screen ,1080p is more than enoungh for below 50 inch screens)hash said:In a few year games aren't going to be the same as "Crysis" they are going to be bigger and better . So latest games will always push latest GPU's to their limits. So you'd expect only the high end cards to do 60 + fps on 1080p or 3d.
