AMD Slashes Price Of HD 7970 , HD 7950 And HD 7870 Graphics Cards

Amd has announced another round of price cuts on its HD 7000 series graphics cards which will come into effect on Monday in the USA .

The price of HD 7970 , HD 7950 , HD 7870 will be slashed by $50 . The HD 7970 will now cost $429 from $479 , HD 7950 will cost $349 from $ 399 , and HD 7870 will cost $299 from $ 349 .

In addition AMD is running Three For Free promotion on their HD 7900 series cards in which customers get three free DX11 games . And the HD 7800 series are shipping with a free copy of Dirt Showdown .

However , the cards have already started retailing at AMD's official prices on newegg . In India the price cuts may take some time to reflect .
