ok very big dreams i know but i want to know i have a amd turion right now and if i want to go for c2d with new mobo if needed can i do so ? dont think u can use the same mobo right ? i dont want to sell my lappie just want to know if possible i shall do it at the end of the year, have no complains by the way just thinking.... and if possi surely will do it.

Err...let me see if i can explain this. You already know that amd turion and core2duo processors will need different motherboards...so we are ok here. The thing is, laptop motherboards are a highly customised component, usually built in a particular way for a certain model or set of models. There is no way you will be able to find a core2duo motherboard for your laptop.
Also, even if in the strangest event that the company has similar models:
a> The motherboard will only be available to the authorised service centers or something, who will take a loooooong time to actually order it from somewhere.
b> The MAJOR point: It will be soooooo expensive that it will actually be cheaper to get a new laptop. ( and no way ANY warranty will cover this
)
