lets c how thier dual cores perform whn thy cme out comaparing to amd's

its always a war.......nvidia ati intel amd.......just hope it doesnt stop ;)

Intel aint half as bad as you guys think. Its pretty good. Just that AMD got a bit better

^^Add me to tht..i'd say Intel aint even Quarter as bad as u guys think...Its still a damn good performer..and comprehensively outsells Amd by tonnes...I do agree tht its thru rough times rit now..but u kno wid such giants...a comeback is just a matter of days...
No..i'm not an Intel freak..neither am i an Amd fan...i believe both of 'em have pretty good arsenals on their side and thrs just no way in which u can bid any1 of 'em farewell..these r just highs and lows of the markets...and its a surprise tht Intel still outsells Amd in every possible market around the world..this is brand value...just like nokia...no matter wot crap they churn out..it always sells..!! ;)

so wat if amd is improving? tat doesn't make intel bad in any sense..
intel were the market leaders for so many years at a stretch..
give em a break..and i'm sure they'll bounce back to the same height again.

if ones good, tat doesn't make the other bad..both can co-exist...:P

Though Intel is a market leader, but they're not the leaders technologically, for the recent couple of years now, they have been following what AMD is doing.
They can't remain the leader for long if they continue to do this.
And yeah, i agree with masky Intel don't give the great value for money as money as AMD does.

Ok..this one doesnt necessarily make too much sense, and if we ignore performance ratings for a moment,u are getting a 1.9/2.0 ghz AMD 3000+ proccy for the price of an actual 3 gig Intel proccy... now tell me whose pricing sux...?? (well i can see glares already but didnt i say,i was jokin...;) )
 
Another guy falling to the gigahertz myth :P. Even if you consider that, a 2800+ A64 is around 5300. What do u get at a similar price from Intel? A crappy non HT 2.4GHz prescott. Now tell me which will u prefer?

Hehe, looks like AMD pwnd Intel. AMD has been doing pretty well recently and although all my previous computers have been Intel, my next one will definitely be AMD!
 
we could have a interesting debate going here ......
no need to close it bottle. i know the amd fans will massacre the intel users here but lets see what "new" comes out of it anyway...
