While comparing features, I found that the above two shared the core multimedia features.
Both cost the same, approx, as well.
So, while the Tab offers a lot more, making it a blind buy, I just wanted additional inputs from experienced folks about using a tab as a media player.
Barring the remote, I don't see any drawbacks of the Karbonn.
