Amkette new flash TV HD media player

Hi,

Amkette has released a new HD player - Amkette flash TV HD multimedia player. Anyone owing it, any reviews available ?

MOP:- Rs 2500.

- No HDMI

- No mkv support

- Does 720p HD through component video, that too upscaled.

- USB slot and Memory card slot

Supported formats:-

Photo Format – JPEG, GIF, BMP

Audio Formats - MP3, WMA

Video Formats – MPEG – 1, MPEG-2 (AVI/VOB), AVI/MPEG4(DiVX 3-6x/XviD), DVD (VOB,MPEG), DAT and MPG, RM / RMVB

AV connections – composite video; Component video;PAL/NTSC with 720P HD output. (No HDMI)

Supported Storage Media - USB Hard Drive (NTFS, FAT32), USB Flash Drive and Memory Cards (SD, MMC).

Just the HDD based point is of some pondering, but no HDMI and upscaled 720 (seriously upscaled 720 ??) makes this DOA in my opinion.

You are talking about old Flash TV non HD which has so many review available hyeah:, but it's been launched new HD media player on last Feb :bleh:.
