Amplifier for PC, Is AIYIMA A04 considered a good Budget Amplifier?

Though I have been a PC Enthusiast for most of my life. I have no idea about speakers/monitors, that's the reason I am posting here. I got Five "Sony ss cs5" as part of some inventory cleanup. I don't think I will use them all five but to use at least two in a stereo setup I understand I need an Amplifier considering these are passive speakers. The cheapest Amp that supports stereo speakers that I found online is New AIYIMA A04 , From the reviews I don't understand if it is good or bad for that price. Please let me know what you think or any alternatives that i might have to look at. Is the enough to make these speakers work from a PC ? I will primarily use it for casual movie watching and music. I am fine with Amps cheaper than this too if they work with the mentioned speakers.

Yes, it would, but check if it comes included with DC power adapter in the sale price. You can use PC's front panel 3.5mm output to this amp's RCA input (using 3.5mm male to 2RCA male cable). OR, if you have a discrete soundcard in PC, you can use its output too. Though can't really comment about its sound quality. Let other FMs give their opinions.

I use PC - iFi DAC - Aiyima A07 amp - Speakers.

This is an interesting topic.
Use cases for PC are way different than home theatre.
A Minimalist Amplifier connected to the PC via a 3.5mm jack and to the Passive Speakers would work great.
Traditionally, PC users have opted for 2.1, 4.1, or 5.1 Sound Systems that included the Satellite Passive Speakers, and a Woofer with built-in amplifier. Such a setup still delivers a great sound for PC use cases such as casual movie watching and music.

If you are looking at a super cheap solution search for tpa3116d2 amplifier boards. Hook it up to a laptop power supply and you'll be good to go.

something like this ?

Very interesting, why it is so cheap compared to others? Just because of brand and the case ?
it's lower power, so that reduces costs all round. It probably puts out around 12-18w per channel depending on the power supply. The aiyma does at least 2-3x more power
Uses lower quality components
No power supply
No case, expensive knob, connectors
No branding

You'll get audio out for movies, but for music the amp will be the bottleneck

If you get the aiyma your sound card will be the bottleneck
If you get a decent (1-2k dongle - apple usb c adapter is a good and cheap option) then the speakers become the bottleneck
