there are ways to rectify a stuck pixel.

you can try. Most are meant for trying on a pc.

but you have an android and market search for 'dead pixel' reveals alot of apps to find and fix them. trying can help. Try applying slight pressure on that pixel area while running test.

I am rather planning to visit Sony Service center to get this rectified. But will try downloading that app.

just check the serial number on the box and on the phone.

visiting sonyEricsson for diaply problems may not be your best idea; they quote, like 80% of they cell phone price for replacing display.

they dont touch out of warranty phones for free. they will come up with lame reasons so as to why your phone can not be put back to previous conditions after they open it and they wont really care what you have to say as long as they see you as a potential customer.

sonyEricsson does not have their own service centers, they outsource the jobs to local agencies. This is the case in my area and i think, is one of the reasons why accelfrontline dropped on sonyEricsson.
 
^ if the bad pixel is fixed i'll take the phone back. my last offer.

But the bad trading feedback i gave to him will stay coz there were no scratches.

Although the box says it has luster white Xperia inside, but as Nishant said IMEI does match with that of the phone.

Kindly pass it, I don't have it anymore in my inbox. Tomorrow would be a holiday so I will visit Sony Service Center the day after and get it fixed.
 
One thing is not going right here. You need to fight with reason, not slangs and insults. :|
Since both of you are guilty one way or another, i suggest nish pays for the damages.
No point playing cat and mice.

EDIT:- seems like this is solved.

IT ain't his fault. It ain't mine either but i don't want/expect my negative feedback to go away. HIS should.mods read this.

As per everything heard from nish_higher he doesn't seem to be the culprit. So he will be refunding the full amount and thus the issue would be resolved.
 
Me and my friends have dealt with "nish_higher" many time, never had any issue. He is from one of the polite, trustworthy, honest members around the forums.
 
So let me get this right- due to some misunderstanding (yeah- misunderstand is the right word) we're seeing this thread- but I am still wondering what's with the thread title. Is this the scene in our forums now? Guilty unless proven innocent? Before the thread title was "aka cheat" and it was removed after most of the members have seen it.

i am just on page 2 only, but would like to say just these 2 things for the time being:

1) Its absolutely Seller's responsibility to tell what all the problems are with the stuff being sold.
You cant expect a buyer to keep asking all things under the sun.
2) The ratings were not given till now.
Somewhat proves that the buyer hadnt tested/used it. Otherwise ratings wd have been given sooner.
But now that last pg says things are coming to a happy ending, its heartening to see that.
Point No 1 stated here shd be discussed by mods/staff.

The thing was he was being middleman for his cousin and this particular cell was replaced during shipment so its not the same that he was trying to sell. So not exactly his fault either. So not really a misunderstanding I would say as I wasn't really wrong neither was anything that I was saying as. The thing sold and thing I received were different. But it has been sorted out now :).

@Virus32win I know dude, even we both have dealt before but the direction that this argument was going wasn't really what I expected and so the thread.

Also I agree if possible mods should change title of the thread now.
