Just got myself a bigger monitor yesterday :eek:hyeah: .. and damm do i love it :cheers: ... Its a Dell SP2008WFP :hap2: .. haven't had the time to take the pics coz i was in a hurry to put it on :p ..

Anyway .. will update with more pics later .. for now u can check my rig at the gallery :p

Now about the monitor itself :

Pros : 2 ms grey-grey response time :) , 2000:1 dynamic contrast ratio , Integrated 2 mp webcam , Dell TrueLife :) , DVI with HDCP :)

Cons : initial color settings hurts the eyes , atleast for me .. otherwise nothing to complain about :) ...

I paid 15k's inc. for this little sweet thing :) .. Dell prices are slightly on the higher side at Kolkata , but damm do i love this .. the IQ is simply amazing .. i can seriously make a hell lot of diff. in the IQ as compared to my old Samsung 740N monitor , and compared to the other LCD's that i've seen recently in the 20" to 22" category , this one really stand out as an overall package :) ...

PS : compared to 1280*1024 on 17" , 1680*1050 on 20" feels huge !!!! :rofl:

Ya i know, just another 500 bucks more to the price i got this for, but comparing the overall features, the E228WFP just offered more in terms of viewable space and not much in other aspects ... and since i view the monitor pretty close, i opted for 20" with slightly more features, than more view area :p ..

ya that is true but since I view a Dell 2007WFP 20inches from 1 feet away but still finding it small & ordered a HP LP2475w 24inches thus I thought you would love a 22inches LCD :)

OMG !!! :S .. i love big screens :cool2: .. but i love my eyes too :ashamed: ... anyway .. here are some *dusty* pics :p ...

it'll cost 40-45k

42incher plasma tv is crap with text & a 32incher lcd tv is too big for me plus low resolution on both plasma tv & lcd tv

I wanted 1920x1200 for a excuse to crossfire

20" Dell, with these features seems like a good deal for 13,800. Any bargains possible , like we do for Dell laptops ?
