Android 4.0 update for the HTC EVO 3D starts rolling out in India
Via the their Facebook page, HTC has announced that they have stared rolling out Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update for the EVO 3D in India. The HTC EVO 3D was launched in India back in August 2011 at a relatively high price tag (MRP) of Rs. 35,990 and it got a price cut later that brought the price down to Rs. 25,000.
HTC had also started rolling out Android 4.0 update for Sensation XL for India earlier this week. They had previously announced the global Android 4.0 update schedule in May. This new update for the EVO 3D would bring new features to the phone including HTC Sense 3.6, customizable launcher in the home-screen, new lock screen functions, music controls in the notification bar, new multi-tasking / recent apps screen and other new features.
Other Android 4.0 updates for HTC devices are soon to be released by them.
