Android 4.0 update for the HTC Incredible S has started to roll out in India. The phone was launched back in March of 2011 with Froyo (Android 2.2) and it was later updated to Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) in May of 2011. HTC had previously announced the Android 4.0 update schedule and in the last few weeks ICS updates have been released for the Sensation XL and Evo 3D.

This update brings in new features such as HTC Sense 3.6, customizable launcher for the home screen, new functions for the lock screen, music controls for the notification bar, new multi tasking bar and other new functions, most of which were added universally for the ICS.

The update can be downloaded Over the Air (OTA) and it weighs in at 250 MB.

Good stuff, I updated my Incredible S last evening, apart from a slight slowdown I'll just have to deal with, ICS is quite pleasant to use!
