Android 4.2.2 and Sense 5 being rolled out for the HTC Butterfly

The HTC Butterfly is being updated to Android 4.2.2 third, after the other two HTC phones the HTC One and the Butterfly S. Currently the update is only being rolled out in Taiwan, but it is expected to be rolled out in other countries very soon.

The update is bringing in the new Sense 5 with Blinkfeed and Video highlights which debuted with the HTC One, and also better AE/AF performance, but excepting these features, all the other Sense 5 features are being made to remain exclusive to the HTC One.

The update is coming out in two parts, one being just 1 MB big and the other one is pretty large at 551 MB.

The phone was announced last year in December, and launched this year in January.
